Qualifications

• 35 years of recent dispatching experience in logistics.
• Direct, hands-on dispatching experience to ports.
• 3+ years of logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years of data entry and 10-key experience.
• 3 years of MS Office experience, Excel for reporting.
• 3+ years of customer service with phone and email etiquette.
• Strong dispatch, customer service, Excel, and logistics background.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Proficiency with company ticketing and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of Port of Long Beach and Los Angeles ports.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers within 4 minutes to ports and locations.
• Manage cashiering by uploading tickets into the system.
• Perform heavy data entry and maintain port activity reports in Excel.
• Dispatch truckers from facility to port and other locations with clear instructions.
• Correspond with clients via email with professional etiquette.
• Handle a high volume of phone calls with clear information.
• Enter port reports and data into Excel quickly and accurately.
• Leverage dispatch and logistics experience to resolve issues.
• Use Word and Excel to create, update, and distribute reports.
