Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Dispatch Coordinator for the night shift (23:00-06:00) in Toledo, OH. Pay is $18.50 per hour. You will coordinate dispatches with drivers and carriers, manage paperwork, and ensure on-time loads while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work with supply chain and warehouse teams, utilize WMS, and track shipments from receipt to delivery. Prior experience in logistics is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year relevant experience, preferred.
• Skills in supply chain, WMS, inventory control, auditing, transportation, trucking, shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound freight and trailers to match warehouse operations and capacities.
• Meet or exceed service and efficiency standards for shipping and receiving.
• Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents (B.O.L.).
• Handle all customers and customer representatives.
• Gather and maintain data and records related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain legible and accurate records and logs as required.
• Assist in training new associates.
• Assist in maintaining facility security.
• Maintain the dock door control board accuracy.
• Promote safety and report unsafe conditions to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas per housekeeping standards.
• Communicate professionally with customer representatives and fellow associates.
• Increase productivity by optimizing loading rates and utilizing efficiency opportunities.
• Understand and apply various systems.
• Adjust staffing levels based on workload to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure on-time loading per Load Ready Date and Times.
• Track and minimize downtime.
• Issue moves.
