Job summary

Prairie Community Services in Mankato, MN is seeking a Direct Support Provider for the Winterwood Home. This part-time night position focuses on supervision, care and safety for individuals served, including daily living activities, recreation, meals, and transportation as needed.

The role starts at $11.41 per hour and requires a valid driver's license, ability to read and follow person-centered plans, and DHS background clearance. Training provided to ensure quality support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand the English language while conducting company business.
• Read, comprehend, and follow each person served’s program related plans and procedures.
• Deliver support to the person served on principles of person-centered services.
• Administer CPR/First Aid when needed.
• Chart daily program information.
