Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Hummelstown, PA. This role focuses on providing direct care to individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and transportation.

No prior experience required; paid training is provided. The position offers a 3rd-shift schedule (10:30pm–7:00am) with every other weekend and a pay rate of $17.00/hr, plus $2 additional with Enhanced Pay options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
• Provide community support, transportation
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
