Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in the Hummelstown area. 1st and 2nd shifts available with pay rate $17/hr and enhanced pay to $19/hr.

The role provides direct, individualized care in a residential setting, supporting daily living, skill development, safety, and engagement. You will document progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while assisting with transports and community activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related experience is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized care to residents in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support development of skills and engagement in recreational/community activities.
• Document resident progress and collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Help maintain residents' living spaces and transport to community activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings.
