Job summary

Alternative Services - Oregon, Inc. (ASI-OR) in Corvallis is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional for a grave shift to support individuals with I/DD. You will perform safety checks, assist with personal care, document important information, and administer medications as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
• Knowledge of health, safety, and emergency procedures
• Experience with personal care and daily living assistance
• Confidentiality and professional boundaries understanding
• Strong active listening and documentation skills
• Good time management and ability to multitask
• Teamwork and ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record
• Ability to assist with daily activities and occasional lifting/mobility support

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care and safety checks during grave shifts
• Assist with personal care needs and daily living activities
• Document important information accurately and timely
• Administer medications as needed and follow care plans
• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive home environment
• Respond with patience, compassion, and professionalism to challenges
• Collaborate with coworkers, families, and supervisors to support individuals
• Ensure dignity and respect in all interactions and promote independence
