Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities in Huntington Beach, providing daily living support and compassionate care.

You’ll work part-time weekends, with a $18/hour rate, plus a $500 sign-on bonus, and join a team committed to person-centered service, health benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities for growth. Orientation is in-person; you’ll complete trainings and contribute to a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• California Driver’s License required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• CPI certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities including meals, hygiene, grooming and dressing.
• Follow Individual Program Plans to support daily routines.
• Support clients in social activities and visits with family.
• Transport clients in a personal vehicle and handle mileage reimbursement.
• Report incidents and communicate with administrators daily.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
