Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and transportation as needed.

The role requires implementing IPP/ISP goals, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with the care team. A California driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and 1 year of relevant experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver’s License.
• Candidates must pass all pre-employment requirements including a background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities and personal care.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Assist with transportation of clients as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Support IPP/ISP goals and accompany clients to visits and activities.
