Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in New Albany is seeking a Data Center Associate to support the datacenter operations on the C-Shift (Mon-Thu 8:00pm-6:30am). The role involves handling server racks, installing components, and performing daily inventory and safety checks.

You will work with hand and power tools, measure installations, and ensure quality and compliance with safety standards. This position requires 1-3 years of related experience and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience required.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards is needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical parts on site.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor and install cabling following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to 5S standards.
