Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in New Albany, OH is seeking a Data Center Associate for the Dock—D-Shift (Thu-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm, Sat-Sun 6:00am-6:30pm). This full-time role handles material orders, customer service, and server component installation at the data center.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound freight handling, quality checks, and daily inventory counts. Requires 3-5 years of related experience, safety knowledge, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills are needed to meet production goals.
• Experience with computers is required; knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight, including shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for part numbers and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment of critical spare parts on site.
• Process return shipments using warehouse management systems.
• Assist with placement of server racks on the datacenter floor with precision.
• Install rack hardware and cabling in server racks per diagrams and schematics.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, pallet jacks).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards in the work area.
