Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections, ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity while supporting merchandising and inventory management.

You will contribute to food safety, uphold department standards, and deliver excellent member service in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer stock per planograms to ensure visual standards.
• Monitor cold chain integrity and replenish items to ensure freshness and availability.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Perform regular quality and date checks to uphold food safety standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation standards and clean equipment and shelving.
• Support seasonal merchandising initiatives and overall club goals.
