Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment used in public schools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow written/oral directions.
• Must communicate clearly and develop working relationships with staff, students and community.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated spaces to established standards (vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting).
• Request and use chemicals, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Dispose of garbage per guidelines and move furniture as required.
• Maintain building and grounds security and report emergencies.
• Perform grounds work and assist maintenance staff as needed.
• Handle snow removal outside regular hours and perform other duties as required.
