Job summary

Perry Middle School in Perry, OH, is seeking a Custodian II for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am). This full-time position covers district facilities under a 260-day contract with a shift differential as negotiated.

Under the Director of Maintenance, you will clean, maintain equipment, assist with events, perform seasonal grounds work, and uphold safety standards. Requires a High School diploma and ability to lift 70 lbs and operate common cleaning tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
• Valid motor vehicle license and ability to provide own transportation.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings.
• Maintain equipment to keep it functional.
• Assist with district and community activity/event set up and clean up.
• Perform seasonal duties including lawn/landscape care and snow removal.
• Promote safety practices and use hand/power tools as needed.
