The Chester County Intermediate Unit is seeking a Custodian Nightside for the Educational Services Center in Downingtown, PA. This full-time position runs 2pm to 10pm and involves cleaning, maintenance, and event setup to support a safe, clean learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of institutional cleaning methods and processes preferred.
• Previous experience in a school custodial position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building facilities.
• Utilize and operate cleaning and floor-care equipment; perform routine facilities maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables; set up and break down tables and chairs for events.
• Assist with receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies.
• Operate buffers, floor-care machines, vacuums, drills and other small power tools.
