Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in the Cleveland area is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform high-quality CT imaging and CT-guided procedures. You will assist with biopsies, drain placements, and ablations while coordinating patient scheduling and educating patients about procedures.

The role requires ARRT CT credential (or within one year), a valid Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• Preferred: One year related experience, plus ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Manages patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Exhibits on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
