Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare patients for procedures and assist Radiologists. You will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety and maintain quality control across imaging studies.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification, Massachusetts RTR licensure, and a CT sub-specialty within 1 year, plus BLS certification and CEUs. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• RTR licensure in Massachusetts is required.
• CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maintaining all area-specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exams and insures comfort and modesty.
• Performs CT scans and uses contrast per policy.
• Operates CT Scanner and assists Radiologist during procedures.
• Maintains records, dose tracking and quality assurance.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and ensures safety standards.

Education

ARRT certification in Radiology

RTR licensure (Massachusetts)

CT modality sub-specialty within 1 year of employment

BLS certification

Maintaining CEUs as required
