Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join our night-shift team. You will perform CT scans, assist with CT-guided procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARRT CT certification, Ohio radiographer license, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include image quality, patient scheduling, education, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff in a high-volume trauma center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images for CT exams.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate imaging with inpatients and outpatients for scheduling.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to improve comfort.
• Operate independently and in the CT team under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with Nurses, Physicians, and Radiology staff.
