Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System’s Memorial City Hospital in Houston is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast when needed, and ensure high-quality images for physician diagnosis.

This PRN, nights position requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Texas MRT license or temporary license, ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification, and 1 year CT experience (or 2 years radiology with CT).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licenses/ Certifications: BLS or ALS, Texas MRT license (or temporary), ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT in CT or equivalents with documented diagnostic CT training.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans: prepare patient, explain procedure, administer contrast when needed, position patient, select imaging techniques, ensure imaging quality.
• Enter and monitor patient data.
• Perform quality assurance on CT equipment.
• May assist with accreditation applications (ACR/other).
• Respond to emergencies and may work weekends or float to other locations.
• Adhere to Memorial Hermann policies, safety standards, and ensure safe care.
