Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure high-quality imaging. You will administer contrast when needed, position patients, and monitor data while upholding safety standards across the department.

The role includes performing quality assurance on CT equipment, reporting malfunctions, and supporting accreditation efforts. Experience in CT, ARRT/NMTCB CT credentials, and ability to work flexible hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licenses: Texas MRT license or temporary license required.
• Certifications: ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT) in computed tomography.
• One of: ARRT-R, ARRT-N, or NMTCB certification with relevant diagnostic CT training.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans, prepares patients, explains procedures and positions for imaging.
• Administers contrast when necessary and ensures scan quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data; performs QA on CT equipment.
• Reports equipment issues and may assist with accreditation processes.
• May work weekends and float to other locations as needed; adheres to safety standards.
