Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to perform CT scans for diagnostic imaging. You will prepare patients, apply contrast when needed, position patients, and ensure diagnostic quality while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications include ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT) certification and Texas MRT licensure; experience as CT tech or radiologic technologist with CT education is preferred. This is an on-site radiology role in Texas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) and ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT) certification in CT or equivalent credentials.
• Documentation of training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams (ARRT-R, ARRT-N, NMTCB).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans: prepares patients, explains procedure, administers contrast when necessary, positions patient, selects imaging techniques and ensures image quality.
• Enter and monitor patient data; perform QA on CT equipment; may assist with accreditation applications.
• Maintain safe patient, staff and visitor care; adhere to policies and standards; may require weekend work and float to other locations.
