Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization to join the CT team at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Required qualifications include ARRT registration, Ohio radiography license, and BLS. The role supports cross-training, night shifts, and rotating weekends with a focus on high-quality patient-centered care in a Level One Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT-CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Operate with on-the-spot critical thinking and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
