Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Night CT or Mammography Technologist to join the imaging services team.

You will operate mammography and CT equipment, position patients, ensure high-quality images, follow radiation safety procedures, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists to support diagnostic workflows.

The role includes preparing rooms, maintaining equipment, and contributing to education and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Experience: 1 year CT or Mammography experience preferred, but not required.
• Licensure/Certification: CT CRT, ARRT, CTCT; Mammography CRT, ARRT, CMT; BLS required.
• Internal candidates must have a Student CT Permit (CTCTP) and train within CT department for one year to receive full CTCT license.
• Internal candidates must have a Student Mammography Permit (CMTP) and train within Mammography department for one year to receive full CMT license.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography and CT radiographic equipment and position patients.
• Ensure image quality and adjust exposure factors as needed.
• Maintain safety and radiation protection practices.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for patient; transport as required.
• Assist with education and training of students and peers.
• Adhere to TMCH safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.
