Job summary

Tucson Medical Center Rincon Imaging is seeking an Imaging Technologist II - CT to join our CT team. You will perform CT studies, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns while maintaining safety and image quality.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT/CRT certifications, BLS, and 1 year CT experience. This full-time role offers a day shift in a collaborative hospital environment with ongoing professional education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• Arizona CRT, ARRT, and CTCT licensing requirements; BLS certification.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, infection control, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and performs CT studies, obtaining patient history and explaining procedures.
• Maintains image quality by following protocols and adjusting parameters as needed.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort, addressing questions and concerns.
• Transports and positions patients; uses department systems for order entry and scheduling.
• Performs routine quality control and assists in education of students and staff.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and adheres to confidentiality and safety standards.
