Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is looking for an Imaging Technologist II CT Tech to function as a CT technologist in a full-time night shift role. The employee will ensure proper operation of imaging equipment and maintain patient safety and quality throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

• One year of related CT or Mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Arizona Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of imaging equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions.
• Transfers, positions, and instructs patients regarding procedures.
• Maintains production and quality of images by following established standards.

Skills

Knowledge of regulations regarding patient care

Skill in providing computerized tomographic scanner radiographs

Ability to read and interpret documents

Ability to communicate effectively
