Job summary

Sweetser in Rockport, ME is seeking a Crisis Residential Counselor - Nights to support adults in crisis, provide therapeutic care, and assist with treatment goals. This in-house role involves documentation, meals, and safe, no-touch care in a supervised setting.

The position offers a clear progression to Crisis Residential Counselor II after 6 months with required training and certifications; a $5,000 sign-on and a $2.50 night differential accompany the hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and experience working in the mental/behavioral health field.
• One year of experience providing direct care and/or crisis intervention to adults.
• MHRT I state certification or eligibility for and completion of certification within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive, respectful, non-judgmental care to adult clients and assist them in meeting goals identified in treatment plans.
• Actively engage with clients while maintaining clear boundaries.
