Job summary

Price Rite of SEEKONK is seeking a Night Crew Clerk to unload and process deliveries in the Grocery Department, maintaining a neat, safe and appealing area. You will price mark, stock and rotate products, ensuring quality and accurate signage while providing friendly customer service.

The role requires physical work in a cold environment, standing for long shifts, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This part-time position supports store management and delivers a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required for pricing and scanning.
• Able to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work with fresh, dried or processed foods and handle allergens.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Able to work in cold environments and follow safety rules.
• Must be 18+ to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process deliveries for the Grocery Department following procedures.
• Price mark, stock and rotate products to maintain quality and display.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow QA sanitation standards and use gloves when handling food.
• Assist customers and maintain department knowledge and cooperation.
• Adhere to company policies, safety requirements and attendance rules.
• Operate balers/hi-los or power jacks where authorized.
• Support department management as needed.
