Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Night Cook for a full-time role in Greeneville, TN. The position runs 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, with benefits eligibility and a pay range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Prior hot entree experience and ability to follow standardized recipes are required. Responsibilities include preparing food per recipes, portioning for service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with ordering and inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior hot entree and side preparation experience is required.
• Ability to use standardized recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and arranged nicely.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
