Job summary

CraftMark Bakery is seeking a Controls Technician to work nights (5pm–5am, 2-2-3) on highly automated lines. You’ll handle PLC/HMI work, VFDs, and diagnostics to keep packaging and production running safely and efficiently.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, coordinate rebuilds, and document with CMMS. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent technical training, with at least 1 year in industrial controls. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical training in controls/engineering preferred or required.
• Minimum 1 year in industrial controls or maintenance.
• Experience with packaging/production equipment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety—adhere to GMP and 5S standards and facility audits.
• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging assets to maintain throughput.
• Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs/rebuilds.
• Assist with machine scheduling for component swaps and full rebuilds.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Document maintenance actions and CMMS updates; collaborate with teams.
