Job summary

Nature's Bakery in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a PLC Technician for the Night Shift (6:00pm–6:30am) on a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule to support our fast‑growing bakery lines with state‑of‑the‑art automation and packaging equipment.

You will help install, maintain and improve plant assets, develop reliability programs, and work with a high‑performing maintenance team to ensure continuous operation and safety in a climate‑controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated industrial machinery incl motors, servos, pumps, drives.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and P&IDs.
• Solid PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
• Knowledge of three-phase motor control circuits.
• Willingness to work night shift on rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC controls across packaging equipment.
• Assist in testing and data retrieval for processing equipment.
• Develop and modify PLC & HMI programs.
• Provide project engineering support to process areas.
• Support plant mechanics in electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation for control/electrical systems.
• Support control-related capital projects.
• Contribute to new process control system maintenance.
• Work around moving machines (mixers, conveyors, forklifts).
