Job summary

Victaulic in Lower Nazareth, PA, is hiring a Coating Process Technician for the Commerce Park site on the 3rd shift. You will maintain and troubleshoot electrocoating and powder coating equipment, train maintenance staff, and serve as a key contact in the Paint department.

Overtime applies as needed and safety PPE is required. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, data analysis for process improvements, and collaboration with Engineering to enhance safety and efficiency on manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of automated equipment with troubleshooting of pneumatics and industrial controls.
• Mechanical processing equipment basics: pumps, heat exchangers, filtration, ovens.
• Ability to communicate equipment issues with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance management.
• Understanding PM and TPM strategies for industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, drawings and safety manuals.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and plan actionable steps.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment to support daily production.
• Diagnose machinery issues and perform root cause analysis for improvements.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor machine performance.
• Perform daily chemical analysis on e-coat samples (pH, conductivity, solids).
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve safety, efficiency and capacity.
• Maintain PM program and CMMS records; close work orders.
• Manage spare parts inventory and repair history for trend analysis.
• Maintain safety practices and PPE compliance.
