Job summary

Arrowhead Winch Inc. in Okmulgee, OK is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for the 3rd shift. The position offers a Sunday through Thursday 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM schedule with hourly pay range of $21.92 to $32.56 and potential overtime.

Includes a $2,500 signing bonus and benefits such as 401(k) with match, health plans, and paid holidays. Background checks and pre-employment physical are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Acquire personal tools as necessary to perform machinist work.
• Ability to perform machining operations on various machines with minimal assistance.
• Understanding of machine tool feed and speed concepts as related to the machining of most common materials.
• Experience and knowledge of setup procedures and techniques applicable to CNC Lathes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and detailed worksheets, and capable of performing mathematical.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-up on two or multiple axis CNC Lathes.
• Read and understand blueprints and detailed worksheets, and perform mathematical calculations required in the association with the blueprint and work instructions.
• Perform both simple and complex machining operations to produce work piece finishes and tolerances as specified.
• Complete required quality and production paperwork.
• Use inspection equipment to inspect parts for quality and specifications.
• Deburr parts machined when applicable.
• Performs daily/weekly checks of machine conditions such as oil levels, pressures, etc.
• Prepare parts for next operation (Internal or external).
• Record labor into production management system.
• Participate in improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
