Job summary

Moog Inc in East Aurora is seeking a Lathe Machinist III for 2nd Shift to set up and operate CNC or manual lathes. You will be responsible for producing complex parts with tight tolerances for mission-critical products while working under minimum supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of CNC machining experience, with strong skills in blueprint interpretation and familiarity with G-code. The role offers competitive pay from $32.00–$37.00 hourly, along with numerous benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a CNC machinist, preferably on lathe and mill machines.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities.
• Inspect work performed and adjust gaging equipment.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints.
