Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on resident care in a part-time night shift setting. You will work 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., 3 out of 4 weekends, with additional holiday rotations.

Base pay ranges by experience, with a weekend premium of $28/hour for scheduled weekends/holidays. You’ll help residents with daily activities, monitor health changes, and support a home-like, safe environment in Minnesota’s SNF setting.

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is a plus.
Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and visitors.
Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
Ability to pass state mandated background check.

Responsibilities

Direct Client Care - Deliver compassionate, hands-on care, assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility per each resident’s Plan of Care.
Support Daily Living - Support daily well-being of residents by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement.
Monitor Health Changes - Monitor and report changes, including vital signs, skin conditions, and any behavioral or physical changes. Ensure timely communication with the nursing team.
Create a Welcoming Place - Help residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their daily lives by creating a home-like atmosphere.
