Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking a CNA/Nursing Assistant to join the Ortho Med/Surg unit. The 36-bed unit serves medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients with diverse needs.

Shifts are three 12-hour nights, 7:00pm–7:30am, with some weekend and holiday variability. You will perform nursing care tasks under supervision and assist with patient services on a busy unit.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program completed.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already held.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for Neonate to Geriatric age groups.

Responsibilities

• Support unit staff with clerical tasks and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care services under supervision of a licensed nurse.
