Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking a CNA to join our nursing team on the 10 bed Cardiac Medical Unit. This part-time position offers 12-hour night shifts and opportunities for growth.

You will care for patients under licensed nurse supervision, with exposure to the Cath Lab and cardiac care experiences. You will perform nursing and patient service tasks, with clinicians relying on your clerical and coordination support.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR completion of the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to care for all listed age groups.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at unit level with clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care and related non-professional services under the direction of the licensed nurse.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification or Trinity Nursing Assistant Program

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

Six months CNA experience in acute care (preferred)

Ability to care for Neonate to Geriatric patients
