MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, ME is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 2 West on the Med/Surg floor. This 24-hour-per-week night shift position (6:45pm-7:15am) involves caring for patients under RN supervision and participating in a rotational schedule including weekends and holidays.

You will perform basic patient care, assist with emotional and spiritual needs, and support a clean, stocked unit while communicating effectively with patients and staff.

Qualifikationen

• A valid CNA certificate from the State of Maine.
• Excellent communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly
