Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Transitional Care unit at Maine Medical Center. This is a full-time night-shift position on a 3x12-hour schedule with weekends required. The unit focuses on longer length of stay patients and features a 40-bed medical surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: CNA license required; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform a variety of direct and indirect care duties on the Transitional Care unit.
