Job summary

The Wesleyan Assisted Living in Georgetown, TX is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work the 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM shift in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The CMA administers prescribed oral medications and must hold a Texas CMA permit and a Texas Nurse Aide Certificate, with CNA/comparable care experience.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA permit in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized medication cart and room.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to licensed nurse.
• Provide direct care per Nursing Care Plan and assist with meals as needed.
• Work cooperatively with residents, nurses, families and staff.
