Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• ASCP certification or eligible and obtained within 1 year of hire date.
• Completion of medical technology training required.
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs, records and reviews scheduled QC and takes corrective action.
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment and observes instrument performance.
• Verifies specimen labeling and integrity before testing.
• Performs low, medium and high complexity testing per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Reports results accurately and communicates critical findings to physicians and nursing stations.
