Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Care Associate to provide nursing assistance and patient care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry is required.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One (1) year of patient care experience (CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech, or similar).
• Visual color acuity required depending on unit.
• Alternate credentials accepted: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care for comfort, safety and personal needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Perform duties within a unit-based, self-directed multidisciplinary team, sharing tasks with licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Perform general clerical and reception duties for the patient unit or department.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, transcribe physician orders, and enter data into the computerized patient care system.
