Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of patient care experience in acute care settings.
• Visual color acuity depending on unit.
• CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT) or CCMA (NHA) may also qualify.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care for comfort, safety and personal needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Work within a unit-based, self-directed, multidisciplinary patient care team.
• Handle general clerical tasks including chart preparation and transcribing physician orders.
• Enter information into the computerized patient care system.
