Job summary

Baptist Health Little Rock is seeking a Circulating Nurse to join the Operating Room team. This RN role supports surgeons and collaborates with interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient care and optimal outcomes within hospital policies and the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act.

The position is a night shift (Tuesday–Thursday, 6:30pm–6:30am) with 72 hours bi-weekly and some holidays. An unencumbered Arkansas RN license and CPR are required; BSN is preferred and specialty education is provided as

Qualifications

• RN license in Arkansas, in good standing.
• Healthcare CPR required; ACLS/PALS/NALS may be required in some areas.
• BSN preferred; specialty education provided for units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment outside the sterile field.
• Administer medications and manage surgical counts.
• Prepare for operations and document procedures.
• Monitor perioperative staff, instruments, and equipment.
• Handle delivery of surgical specimens.
