Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking an Experienced Circulating Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time, day shift position supports a high-tech, patient-centered surgical service across general, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, and more.

The Circulating RN will implement the nursing process for patients from infant to geriatric, ensure safety, assess responses to surgery, and collaborate with the team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license required.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process for patients across all age groups (infant to geriatric).
• Ensure patient safety by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Assess physiological responses to surgery and manage patient care accordingly.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
• Contribute to the department’s success by taking personal responsibility and accountability in your role.
