Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Charge Nurse for the 2D Neuro unit. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am), 36 hours weekly, offers a sign-on bonus for experienced applicants and self-scheduling in a Pathway to Excellence environment.

Qualifications

• ASN degree or diploma in nursing.
• Current Indiana RN license or compact state license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS for Healthcare Providers (within 6 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification (within 10 weeks of hire).
• One year of nursing experience; specialty area experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as resource nurse and lead department on designated shifts.
• Coordinate care and staffing to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise unit staff.
• Address departmental concerns and staff issues as they arise.
