Job summary

Universal Health Services' BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, CA is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to lead nursing care on the psychiatric unit during the NOC shift. You will collaborate with the health team to coordinate care and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements include a licensed RN in California, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least three years' psychiatric nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; RN license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as an RN in psychiatric care preferred.
• Current California nursing license is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive nursing assessment within eight hours of admission.
• Document patient information and nursing care.
• Document and reassess changes in patient condition per policy.
• Delegate staff assignments based on patient needs.
• Assign daily tasks based on staff competency.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure timely ADLs completion.
