Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Amarillo is seeking a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN for night shift. You will lead nurse aides, supervise direct care, and ensure high-quality resident care in a dynamic facility.

Responsibilities include administering medications, implementing care plans, transcribing orders, documenting care, and contributing to shift reports. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to coordinate staffing and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LVN in good standing.
• Excellent clinical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and workflow organization.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer Medications: safely give prescribed meds.
• Implement Care Plans: execute plans per policies and orders.
• Perform Treatments: provide required resident treatments.
• Transcribe Orders: accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: maintain charts and assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: ensure care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: teach nursing policies and procedures.
• Maintain Safety Standards: follow infection control and safety rules.
• Address Staffing Needs: arrange replacement staff when needed.
