AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced nursing leader for a full-time night shift unit. You will coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia, developing and implementing care plans while collaborating with physicians and the broader health team.

You will monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of care. Education for patients and families and participation in quality initiatives are expected

Qualificações

• Must use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient care and revise plans.
• Supervision experience is required for unit leadership.
• Maintains current nursing license and knowledge of unit care requirements.
• Identifies problems affecting service and implements solutions with follow-through.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers for coordinated care.
• Prioritize patient needs based on acuity and urgency, ensuring timely care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and self-management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to raise care standards.
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff to ensure adherence to standards.
