Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Charge Nurse to lead daily patient care on a busy unit.

This full-time night shift (36 hours per week, 3/12s) role requires bedside nursing expertise, staff supervision, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver safe, high-quality care.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required, along with RN licensure (single-state or compact), and prior relief or charge experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• RN licensure (single state or compact) required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; minimum 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities on assigned shift.
• Serve as charge nurse, manage staff schedules and patient flow.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and leadership to ensure safe care.
• Ensure survey readiness and compliance with nursing standards.
