Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for night shifts to lead nursing staff, monitor patient care quality, and ensure timely documentation. You will collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Escalates unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
Evaluates the quality of patient care and outcomes.
Directs and coordinates nursing personnel during shifts.
Ensures real-time documentation and signs off physician orders.
Advises nurses on when to call physicians for patient concerns.
Assists staff with electronic quality management tools for treatment plans.
Uses chart audit reports to monitor documentation adherence.
Supports interdisciplinary team when issues arise with families, physicians, or other caregivers.
Coordinates orientation of new staff with preceptors and facilitates clinical experiences.
Assists in data collection for process improvement projects.
Other duties as assigned.
