Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a reliable Night Jockey in Cincinnati, OH to help move and spot warehouse equipment, inspect trailers, and maintain safe storage of gear. This role emphasizes strong communication, physical fitness, and attention to detail in a high-volume distribution environment.

Night shifts (Sunday–Thursday) require keeping trailers ready for loading, reporting repairs, and performing regular equipment checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to meet physical demands.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good eyesight is required for safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Completing trailer sanitation before reloading.
• Moving equipment around the yard.
• Notifying management of repairs that need to be made.
• Storing equipment in safe areas.
• Conducting regular inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment.
• Conducting an inventory of equipment.
• Work the night shift, Sunday through Thursday.
• Loading and unloading of trailers.
